It is compulsory for participants to take the OLS language assessment in the main language of instruction, work, or volunteering foreseen for their mobility (as long as it is covered by the OLS). However, if the participant is a native speaker or has attained a result between CEFR levels B2 and C2 in the first OLS language assessment, the sending institution/organisation may provide the participant with the possibility to follow an OLS language course in the local language instead.
